On Wednesday, February 6th, the Master’s in Global Affairs students were received in Spanish Parliament for a discussion with Member of Parliament María Soraya Rodríguez Ramos, former Secretary of State for International Cooperation. In this enriching meeting, the MGA students we are able to discuss with MP Rodríguez about the geopolitical implications of Brexit, the upcoming European elections and how to address the challenges of globalization by promoting multilateralism and sustainability.
This event was the first of the MGA’s international agenda in Europe. Our MGA class was accompanied to the Spanish Parliament by our faculty members Carlota Núñez Strutt, Coordinator of Relations with International Organizations and visiting lecturer Borja Moya. We thank MP Rodríguez for her generosity in receiving us in the Spanish Parliament for a very interesting and fruitful discussion.
