Ambassador Guido Bellatti

Guido Bellatti Ceccolli (Florence, 1936- 2017) was a diplomat of the Republic of San Marino since 1989. He was the Ambassador of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and non-resident Ambassador of Tunisia. Ambassador of the United Nations in Geneva, Chair of the Committee of Minister´s Deputies of the Council of Europe, Diplomatic Counselor of the UNESCO. He was a professor of European Law (Antonianum University- San Bernardino Institute, Venice), Italian History (University of Strasbourg), Interreligious Dialogue (University of Pisa).

Attorney at Law and Notary, he was the Government Co-Agent to the European Court of Human Rights (since 1995). He was a member of the Council of Bars and Law Societies, IACL, ILA, ICLARS, CIMS, CHER, ACIHL, and GERI. He published 7 monographs and more than 40 articles in specialized journals (in English, French, Spanish and Italian).
